Regenerative medicine is showing massive potential for treatments with health issues previously unthought-of when it comes to the growth of cells in the brain, heart, pancreas, liver, kidney, eyes, ears, and muscles. Philip Clark, from ABC’s Nightlife show delved into the spinal cord injuries that previously could not be treated, but with new research and purpose, the possibilities on the horizon hold some promise.

He spoke with Emeritus Professor Perry Bartlett AO. Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science and Founding Director of the Queensland Brain Institute, who is also a co-founder of SpinalCure and heads up our Scientific Advisory Panel. Joined by Joanna Knott OAM, Chair & Co-founder of SpinalCure Australia, and Peter Murray, a former senior manager with “Spinal Cord Injuries Australia” and author of “Walk On — The remarkable life of David Prast“.
