Using neural stem cells cultured in nanofiber scaffolds to repair spinal cord injury

A Chinese research team has shown that a transplant of primate neural stem cells, which were isolated and cultured in self-assembling peptide nanofiber scaffolds, can help restore motor function in spinal cord injured rats.
