After 20 years of frontline police work\u00a0Allan Sparkes<\/a>\u00a0grabbed the headlines for his heroic rescue of a child swept down a flooded storm water drain \u2013 an act of bravery for which he won the Cross of Valour. Allan\u2019s brother David, and a close friend, Alan McCabe both suffered spinal cord injuries playing rugby so our search for a cure is a goal dear to his heart. At Allan\u2019s suggestion\u00a0ICAP<\/a>\u00a0has made a very welcome donation to SpinalCure.<\/p>\n
