Just one-month after implantation of InVivo’s Neuro-Spinal Scaffold, the third study patient improved from a complete AIS A spinal cord injury to an incomplete AIS B spinal cord injury. The patient has regained sacral sensation with improved bladder function.
The second patient, who was implanted 6 months ago, has regained partial sensation from the lower ribs to the hip on the right side. The patient continues to make meaningful progress in activities of daily living.
