Another study, this time from the University of Washington, Seattle USA, shows the promise of intraspinal electrical stimulation for treating spinal cord injury.

Here the focus was on cervical injuries and the cord was stimulated above the lesion in contrast to epidural stimulation used in the work of Prof Harkema and Prof Courtine.
