Nearly 300 people packed onto the balconies at Story Bridge Hotel on 12th August 2005 to attend the inaugural "Cause for Cocktails" event.

Guests traveled from as far away as the Northern Territory and western Queensland to help raise $4500 for Spinal Cure Australia.

The cocktail party was supported by Ironfist Metalcraft, Queensland Cotton, Georgina Morrow, Canterbury and Outback Organics.
